Woodwind Players Unite. The Community Music School in conjunction with The University of Arkansas Music Department is proud to announce Woodwind Weekend! Woodwind players in grades 7 through 12 are invited to attend this special event. Participants will have the opportunity to attend masterclasses focused on technique, tone, musicianship, audition preparation and other vital musical skills. Additionally, participants will take part in various expanded ensembles and perform a final concert for friends and family at the end of the workshop. Woodwind Weekend will encourage its participants to develop their musicality and build confidence through coaching sessions with the University of Arkansas woodwind faculty.
