Abigail will provide an in-depth overview of the Avalon Center, a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She will highlight the Center’s core services, including Emergency Shelter, Outreach Services, and the Child and Youth Program.
Abigail Cokkinias
Abigail Cokkinias is the Outreach Coordinator for the Avalon Center, where she has worked since 2022. She began as a Domestic Violence Advocate serving Rhea, Bledsoe, and Van Buren counties, then transitioned to a Sexual Assault Advocate and later a Sexual Assault Long-Term Advocacy Case Manager. In her current role, she focuses on community outreach, education, and raising awareness to support survivors across the seven counties that the Center serves.
