Angela Witzel will share stories of her years as an Agent with the Secret Service and explain how she came to Crossville. Starting a creative space for herself to renew and repurpose furniture was not her original plan, but it became her passion. Dogwood Exchange continues to evolve into a creative space for her and others to explore their creativity. It also serves as a great place for others to buy unique gifts and home decor.
Angela Witzel
Angela started her law enforcement career at the age of 21 in 1994. During her 10 years with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department in South Carolina, she rose through the ranks from dispatcher to investigator. While working as a Deputy, she earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in 2001. She joined the Secret Service in 2004 and served 11 years before an on-the-job injury ended her career. Angela is now the owner of Dogwood Exchange and one of the many creators at the local Artisan Market.
