From still lifes, photos, and one model session, students will push the limits of charcoal. Please have materials the first day and feel free to contact the instructor if you have questions about brands to buy.

Teaching Artist: Dawn Brennan

  • Soft Compressed. Cretacolor recommended.
  • Hard erasers. There is this kind of eraser in a pen that is really good for detail.
  • 18” x 24” pad of paper, at least 80 lb weight. Strathmore is OK. Stonehenge, a printer’s paper, is really great. Artists and Craftsman is easiest place to get paper.
