This class is for students who have taken Introduction to Drawing or Introduction to Painting and who wish to continue to develop their skills through new and intensive projects. In this class, students will build their own shadow boxes and make still life compositions that they will work from for multiple weeks. This class will also visit The Art Institute of Chicago to make a copy of a drawing or painting from their outstanding collection. Students can work in the medium of their choice (oil paint, acrylic paint, pencil, charcoal,
watercolor, etc).
