This 5-week course is designed to introduce the world of artist’s books. Participants will understand the definition of artist’s books and learn about the different ways to deliver their creative ideas through this unique medium. In this multi-level class, basic book making techniques from non-binding (folding) to single section binding will be introduced, and the close observation of different material types will be encouraged. However, it is not required to use any introduced techniques when participants are asked to create their own artist books.

We require a minimum number of five students enrolled in a class in order for it to run. If the class is at risk of cancellation, students will be notified on September 20.
