Open Arts: Contribute-What-You-Can Course
Intermediate Painting
In-Person

Gain a deeper understanding of the elements of painting, as well as methods for developing a series of paintings. This in-person course weaves together demonstrations, quick exercises, and independent work time. All painting mediums are welcome!

Tuition: $350

  • Community members are not required to show proof of vaccination to participate in studio programs. We recommend, but do not require, masks in our studio spaces to help protect those who are most vulnerable to transmission.

    We require a minimum number of five students enrolled in a class in order for it to run. If the class is at risk of cancellation, students will be notified at least one week prior to the start of class. Please note: we are not able to offer membership discounts at this time. Financial aid is available for tuition-based courses here; the deadline to apply is March 22.
  • Paints and painting surfaces of your choice, a variety of paint brushes, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, paper to paint on such as Canson XL oil and Acrylic Pads, and a sketchbook.
