Art for Everyone! In Open Arts, there's no minimum required tuition to participate. We ask that students and families contribute what you can. Your contributions help support costs such as teaching artists, supplies, and space. We thank you for contributing as generously as you can to this creative community!
- Students may register for ONE ceramics course. Students may additionally waitlist for ONE ceramics course, to indicate a top preference. This applies to all Throwing & Handbuilding courses (intro, intermediate/advanced, high & low fire, altering pots, and multi-level), and allows us to better accommodate student preferences and overall access.
If you do not attend the first week of class without notifying us, we will offer your spot to the next person on the waitlist.
Community members are not required to show proof of vaccination to participate in studio programs. We recommend, but do not require, masks in our studio spaces to help protect those who are most vulnerable to transmission.
We require a minimum number of five students enrolled in a class in order for it to run. If the class is at risk of cancellation, students will be notified at least one week prior to the start of class. Please note: we are not able to offer membership discounts at this time. Financial aid is available for tuition-based courses here; the deadline to apply is June 6.
- Tuition includes 2 bags of clay (25 lbs total), with the option to purchase three additional bags, along with glazes, and firing. Class-takers will also have access to open studio hours.
