This course will serve as an introductory crash course to figure modeling with a special form of clay (Monster Clay). The information covered and the pace of the course are intended for teenagers and adults. The class will teach how to sculpt figures with a focus on proportions and human anatomy as well as necessary technical skills like knowing how to construct a basic wire armature.

No live models are necessary and references for sculpting will be online 3D models and/or physical paper and book references. This is intended to be accessible, and let the students learn skills and gain resources that will help them continue their art outside of the class or a professional studio. This course is constructed and laid out to be accessible and inclusive to individuals of varying levels of skills from never having touched clay to professional sculptors.
