Exploring Dante and Homer and Mayer and Whitman, among others, class discussions and workshops will consist of crafting a book/chapbook length poem of an expansive length. Students will be able to explore a variety of solutions to the challenge that it is to write cohesive, longer poems, incorporating scrolls and other print media as a means to explore the psyche and soul of a given place. This class will commence in a reading and celebration of student work.
