The art of a portrait can be as realistic as the Mona Lisa or abstract like Picasso’s funny and distorted facial features. We will explore artists past and present who use collage in very innovative ways through mixed media. Young artists will experiment with a variety of materials to create a collage portrait with expression, creative facial features with the use of shape, color, texture, and emotion.
