Positive Moves: Caring for Our Capacity to Care
Recurring | Available
Trauma Stewardship is a daily practice of bringing attention and intention to our capacity to care for ourselves as we care for others (van Dernoot Lipsky & Burk, 2009). Mapping our trauma exposure response is a critical first step in understanding the impact that our work has on our personal and professional lives. By integrating the principles of The Five Directions Model, we can begin to develop daily habits, routines, and rituals that embody mindful empathy, intentionality, and (self) compassion, which are essential to our health and wellbeing.
