Having a strategic vision on paper is only the first step. The difficult part is reaching a tangible destination. From vision to concept and eventually a living product, this Walton College Executive Education program provides a roadmap for strategy. Graham Cobb, President and CEO of the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce, shares the strategic implications of the #BecauseBentonville campaign. Local expert and Walton College Executive Education instructor Blake Woolsey will also break down techniques and approaches of strategic conversations.

Woolsey, Blake

Blake Woolsey served as an executive vice-president and on the executive committee Mitchell. In the 10 years she was at Mitchell, she led the Center for Business, Training, and Leadership Excellence, the Creative team as well as Hyper-local Activation. Her public relations proficiency spans media training, presentation training, influence, strategy, and key messaging. Prior to joining Mitchell, she was a partner and co-owner of Executive Communications Consultants, LLC. Jointly with Mitchell Chairman Elise Mitchell, they offered public speaking workshops, media training, facilitation, and private coaching for business and nonprofit executives. Today, Blake consults with executives as well as teams from companies and organizations such as Hilton, Walmart, Tyson, Walton Family Foundation, the University of Arkansas, Nabholz, Garver, and Luther College. She provides guidance on strategy, facilitating planning, and preparing to speak to the media and/or large audiences.
