Course Structure
80 hours of on-site instruction, divided into two (2) 40-hour sessions. The three (3) week break allows for self-paced work on individual projects. Enrollment is limited to 20 students. IASSC Green Belt Certification Proctored Exam (included in course fee).

Michealson, Kirk

Kirk Michealson is an Operations Research Practitioner with Operations Research Analysis (applied math) degrees from the United States Naval Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School. As an Operations research analyst, he uses probability, statistics, and computers to solve real world word problems. He is also a retired Navy Surface Warfare Officer, Retired Lockheed Martin Fellow for Operations Research Analysis, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Past President & current Fellow of the Military Operations Research Society (MORS). Kirk consults in the areas of operations research analysis, project management, process improvement, and training. For the University of Arkansas’ Master of Science in Operation Research Program, he teaches Introduction to Decision Support Tools for Operations Managers (Microsoft Office), and later this year, a basic Lean Six Sigma course. He has also taught courses in Decision Models, Economic Decision Making, and Project Management for Operations Managers.
