Yeager, PhD, Timothy

Timothy J. Yeager is Professor of Finance and holds the Arkansas Bankers Association Chair in Banking at the University of Arkansas.  His responsibilities include teaching, research, and outreach to Arkansas bankers.  He taught the Belize Study Abroad course in Dangriga, Belize from 2011-2017 where the students implemented a microfinance program.  Prior to joining the University in January, 2006, Dr. Yeager was an Assistant Vice President in the Bank Supervision and Regulation unit of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.  His articles have been published in journals such as the Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Journal of Financial Stability, and the Journal of Banking and Finance.  He has been quoted in numerous state and national news outlets and his work has been featured in national newspapers and select trade publications.  Tim received his Ph.D. in Economics in 1993 from Washington University.
