Walking Historic Point Breeze - afternoon

Special Event | Available (Membership Required)

Come and explore this spring one-day historical walking tour by an experienced tour guide of

over 25 years of Point Breeze. Point Breeze saw a few blocks becoming the most opulent

millionaire row of the 19th century in America. It had Thomas Armstrong (king of cork), H. J.

Heinz (57 varieties), George Westinghouse (electric and gas), Andrew Carnegie and Henry Frick

(steel). Overall, a total of about three dozen millionaires in all lived in Point Breeze. We will

reminiscence about what was and show what still exists in this wonderful East End

neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Transportation to the walking tour is on your own.
