The Introcaso Center for Lifelong Learning is very excited to announce the Southern Italy Study
Abroad Trip (with an extension to Capri) October 13-October 26. This trip will include all of the
must-see sights, flight from Pittsburgh, and so much more. A detailed itinerary will be shared
soon.
This lifelong learning journey traces the cultural heart of southern Italy from Sicily to the
Amalfi Coast, blending ancient history, dramatic landscapes, and regional traditions.
Beginning in Sicily, explore Taormina, Mount Etna, Siracusa, and baroque Noto before
crossing to Calabria and continuing north to the cave city of Matera. In Puglia’s Itria
Valley, highlights include Alberobello’s trulli, baroque Lecce, whitewashed Ostuni, and
a masseria olive oil tasting. The journey concludes near Pompeii with a guided visit of the
Roman ruins and a farewell dinner, with an optional extension to see Positano, Sorrento
and Capri offering iconic coastal scenery before returning home from Naples.
Join us on Wednesday, January 28 at 11am for an Information Session to learn more about the
trip from Hart Travel Partners.
Please note: Single rooms are very limited and only available to members. We may do a lottery
for the single rooms.
