Beyond the Veil II: Another Introduction to World Religions through their Theologies of Life, Death, and the Afterlife
Lifelong Learning | Available (Membership Required)
This is a continuation lecture of Beyond the Veil from the Fall (though participation in the first course is not a requirement for enrollment). Religions include Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Ancient Egyptian practices and will consider the perspectives of how they treat the dead and what happens after death. Participants will be challenged to consider how a lifetime of religious beliefs and practices converge in the final moments of an earthly existence, thus leading to an understanding of the fundamental teachings of the various traditions.
