Wines and Grapes of Burgundy

Lifelong Learning | Available (Membership Required)

Did you know that Burgundy is one of the most influential and historically significant wine regions in the world? This course will explore the wines produced throughout the various regions of Burgundy. We will discuss and taste wines from well-known appellations as well as a few lesser-known areas. The class will review a variety of wines selected to showcase the importance of terroir, along with the classic grape varieties and styles that define Burgundy. We will also discuss approaches to food pairings with regional Burgundian wines. Each week, students will have the opportunity to sample 3 to 5 wines.

This course will have a course fee of $45 to cover the cost of the wines. This course will meet for 3 weeks and begin on February 11.
