 This course is for those who have taken the Art of Storytelling course that would like to further hone their spoken storytelling skills. Students will have the opportunity to work on a story for multiple genres and an optional performance. Students are encouraged to come to the first class with a story ready to workshop. Prerequisite: Art of Storytelling.

Misty Mator

Misty Mator is an award-winning storyteller with over ten years of professional experience. She has a degree in Written & Performative Storytelling from Geneva College, and has performed for Pittsburgh’s EQT Children’s Theatre Festival, the Women’s Storytelling Festival in D.C., the Beaver Tales Storytelling Festival, and the Stone Soup Storytelling Festival, along with many other schools, libraries, and festivals. She has given workshops on storytelling for the national organization Story Crossroads, Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA, and Carnegie Mellon University.
