Adult CPR and First Aid

The American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.
The cost of this class is $55.
Emily Shimko
Dr. Shimko is an associate professor in the Health Sciences Department at La Roche. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in dance from Slippery Rock University, and a Master of Science in exercise physiology and Ed.D. in healthy and physical activity both from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Shimko Emily is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Registered Yoga Teacher. Previously she worked as a personal trainer and loves teaching group fitness. She believes that taking classes is a great way to improve physical health and fitness as well as finding a supportive social environment to meet individual goals.
