Faith in Action, Rooted in Grace: Catholic Social Teaching and the Life and Dignity of the Human Person

Lifelong Learning | Registration opens 8/20/2026 9:00 AM EDT

This course is a further study of what the Catholic Church describes as the “central and essential element of our faith” and what has been nicknamed ‘the best kept secret of the Church’. In this second of a series of courses, we will examine the foundation of all the principles of Catholic Social Teaching: that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society.

In addition to class lectures, participants will be asked to read Church documents and participate in class discussions.

Participation in previous Catholic Social Teaching courses is not required for this class.
