Participants will learn basic Mandarin phrases, explore Chinese customs and traditions, discover regional cuisine, examine famous historical landmarks, and gain insight into contemporary Chinese society. Whether students are planning a future trip to China or are simply curious about its language and culture, this course provides an enjoyable introduction that requires no previous knowledge of Chinese.
Xuan Li
Xuan Li is an experienced educator who has taught both Chinese and English language courses to adult learners. She currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the English as a Second Language Department at La Roche University and has several years of experience teaching Chinese language and culture to adults. She enjoys creating engaging, interactive learning experiences that connect language with history, culture, and real-world communication.
