Widowed? Separated? Divorced?

Lifelong Learning | Available (Membership Required)

The end of a marital relationship is one of the most traumatic losses a person will ever experience. The normal, natural reaction to such a loss is grief, regardless of whether the marriage ended due to the death of a spouse or due to separation or divorce. Facing feelings of loss, loneliness, fear, and pain can be challenging on one’s own.

This workshop will share how the Beginning Experience
® grief resolution ministry incorporates Team members’ own experiences to address the five stages of grief (denial, bargaining, anger, depression, and acceptance) identified by psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, and to accompany individuals as they journey through their grief into renewed hope.
