Footsteps Through Time: Exploring the Ancient South of Italy and Sicily Part 2

This two-part lecture and presentation will examine the history of Southern Italy and Sicily where the past is still very much visible and tangible. An exploration of the historic sites within the southern area of the Apennine Peninsula will showcase how Southern Italy and Sicily became the location for where the seeds of the economy, intellect, and culture of Rome were sown.
You do not need to attend both, but please register for those you would like to attend.
Mark Macedonia
Mark Macedonia is a retired Social Studies teacher who taught for thirty-two years within the Seneca Valley School District, where he taught AP World History and United States History to High School Students. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in communication from St. Bonaventure University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In the past five years, Mark has authored three books of historical fiction, The Soles of Cyrus Eblis, Beneath a Crescent Moon, and most recently, Beware the Shifting Sands.
