Walking Historical Bellevue - Oct 16 p.m.

Lifelong Learning | FULL (Membership Required)

Bellevue was formed in 1867 after breaking away from Ross Township in 1795. It is only 4.5 miles to Downtown Pittsburgh. This is a very walkable and nice neighborhood with an outstanding main retail section on Lincoln Avenue. We will look and talk about the past, present, and future of Bellevue. The highlights include the former Bellevue theater, Assumption Catholic Church and school, City Hall, Lincoln Brewery, Masonic Hall, Classic Chevrolet, Bayne Park and Library, former Bellevue High School, Revival restaurant, various old churches, Hermann Art Museum, and last but not least the architect Rosseau spectacular home on Watkins. Come join us this fall!
